The hunters only have today left to hunt here and then they head to the Kalahari to get some Gemsbok. Everyone is having a blast here except for Roy, who is the owner of the United States largest copper industry. I have been asked not to go into much detail over a social network, but long story short he got so upset he just got up and left today. It was quite a shame things had to end that way for him and his grandson, but that's just the way it is. Tonight will be a good night and I'm sure everyone will have a lot of fun. All I have to do today is set up another trail cam and then go practice my shooting because I'm pretty sure my time to go on my own hunt is growing ever so close!

The Hunt is Coming to an End
With everyone from the whole hunting group being here all at once things have been a little different. Since there are so many the past couple days I haven't been able to go on the most recent hunts, which isn't ideal but ill live. It's just been a lot of patrolling the fences and making sure the clients have been happy. I did get to go put up a leopard bait so that was a very cool experience. We hung a hind quarter of a zebra up in a tree with wire and then dragged massive piles of raunchy digestive systems of other previously hunted animals that had been rotting for several days all around the area where the bait was hung. On the way to the spot while driving I got to see quite a few animals including 2 hippos so that was a pretty cool site. Also, we drove through this little ghost town called Leysdrop. This town is very small and nobody lives there any longer. It supposedly has a lot of history to it though. Mandi was telling me how it at one time used to be the capital of South Africa and home to one of the first South African presidents. Now it is just home to baboons and whatever other animals pass through.
